In the South of Italy
It took so long to upload this new post on the blog, but 2018 decided to go in hyperspeed mode, and so much has happened… oh yes!
But first things first, let’s focus on the hot topic of the day: Sartoria Lo Mele’s new Collection!
It should have come online way sooner, but you know, life happens. As always, I would like to give you a glance of what happened behind the scenes, and this time a lot of new things went down.
Last summer during my holidays I felt completely in love with this small town in Puglia, south of Italy. Cisternino is a jewel of the region, where the white architecture is constantly shifting under the whims of the daylight. I decided that that maze of tiny streets and candid walls had to be the set for our next photoshoot.
What I also loved of this photoshoot, was the chance to meet and collaborate with incredibly talented people. This time, we went 100% local: local beauties and professionists made this little „masterpiece“ possible. The photographer Vito Campanelli, just made me so happy with his work. Did I ask for a south Italian halo in the picures? He provided a full dose of mediterranean beauty and light, beyond my expectations.
And you know what was a lucky shot? Getting to work with the make-up artist Marianna Manco. She actually contacted me, and after I found out how impressive her working experience is (like high level of impressive), I just couldn’t contain the bliss. Damn, she is good.
Also what I found out, to make a photoshoot a success, get yourself a videographer. Or better, get two. Aristide and Marco made the experience just so much more fun. They were inspired by anything and ready to film in any moment. It was my first time to see videographers in action and I was just fascinated by their dynamism and readiness to jump in action. And these guys gave us the best laughters, which is a huge plus for a professionist. Anyway I wrote all of these to announce, that we will have videos too!! Sartoria Lo Mele levels up, woop woop!
